When I launch the folding at home program, it loads the webpage, communicates with the client and then just idles.
Its been stuck on 0.00% progress for some time now - I even disabled my firewall.
Any suggestions? I really want to help.
Regards.

Welcome to the forum, candrid.
Your log file will tell us a lot about what's happening. The file can be found in the client's data directory, which is accessed via Start->Programs->FAHClient->Data Directory. Please copy and paste the contents of log.txt inside code tags, which can be found by opening the Full Editor or by typing them out like this:
[/code]

What do you mean by "just idles"? Something should be running.

Just a guess but you may need to slide the slider over to full if it is set to light or medium it will just idle as long as you are using the computer for other things.

Hmm. According to
http://folding.stanford.edu/English/V7- ... iate#ntoc5 the Medium setting should still allow folding to run on the CPU, but it fires up the high-powered graphics card only when the system is idle, in order to avoid lag while still being productive.
