Server Outage? [Connection issue resolved]

Is there a general server outage? I have 10+ clients (SMP's and GPU's) failing to connect to the assignment servers. Also, I cannot access Stanfords Folding site ...

I can access the site just fine. I suspect something might be going on at your end. Firewall, Internet connection, ISP, etc.

Strange. Internet connection appears to be fine - no modem log issues, Win update and IS updates also work, general web surfing no problem ... will check the firewall, but it would seem odd to suddenly block such access for no reason ....

Use a browser and connect to one of those blocked servers. Do you get an OK?
I'm not having any problems with either the servers or the PG home.

Well, couldn't find any issues ....given that there's a mix of Win flavours and Linux with different firewalls etc, it suggested a modem glitch or ISP block. Therefore, I did a remote restart of the modem (from work). Can't tell specifically if that fixed it, but things back to normal on returning home ..... glad Stanford hadn't actually gone up in a ball of smoke
