Just been looking on Psummary for the new gpou projects and they are not listed, i take it these are not being assigned yet. We have been told on more than one occasion that psummary is only a list of active projects being assigned and that the list is dynamic.

If that is the case then why are 6903 and 6904 still on all threee lists, and what has happened to 6905/6906 as i have not seen anyone get one of those yet????

That can include projects only being assigned to PG computers while doing their testing prior to release.

OK that still leaves the unanswered question of 6903/4 - they were supposed to be finished - or are they being finished on PG computers?

As projects wind down to the end, it gets to a point where the minimum number of WUs available falls below the setting to keep those projects actively assigned. As bruce has noted before, assignments shut down before the available WUs reaches zero because then bad things happen if the server runs out.

PG needs to clean house on those straggler WUs if 6903/4 are truely done. But it's a low priority task. Those last few WUs could sit there for weeks. It doesn't really hurt anything.

PG also needs to get new projects on to PSum on a more consistent basis. However, the majority of their researchers graduate every few years, and new researchers come on board. So some of the inconsistencies you blame on PG are actually newbie PG member learning curve mistakes. Those will never go away completely.

When projects need updating on PSum, just report it. Someone will fix it.

I'm not blaming anyone for anything - merely asking questions, and i'm not aware that there are any other erroneous projects on Psum - but if there are and i find them i'll let someone know

You had also mentioned new GPU projects missing from "certain" PSum pages in your original post. You could report that in the thread where those projects were announced.

I could, but they are Beta WU, are not yet on Psum and AFAIK no one has been assigned one yet. If they aren't on Psum when they start being assigned I shall let PG know

The Psummary only reports general release projects being served by the work servers. Projects in beta are never shown there. If you search through the beta forums you will find that there is a separate list for beta projects being assigned.
