Can I set fah to only activate when idle? [Not yet]

Fah is interfering with my gaming on the cpu side, even if I set it at low cpu usage and only use certain cores it causes in-game stutter. I'm wondering if there is a way to make it so fah only activates when the computer is idle? My computer runs 24/7 so it won't be a problem when I'm sleeping or out.

Simply PAUSE the app in FahControl before you start your game, and click FOLD when you're done.

The GPU clients usually affect games more than the CPU or SMP clients...

My gpu is running my games fine even with fah running on it. It's just a shame there's no option to let fah automatically run when idle, kind of a pain to continuously turn it on and off all day. Thanks anyway.

There is a screensaver option mentioned by Pande Group in development that will run when idle.

What client, core? What are your system specs?

Generally you should not lock the client to specific cores. If you run the SMP client, you can set it to use only some of your cores, but that will be in effect all the time. I believe only the Uniprocessor core responds to the CPU usage setting.

I also run the GPU Client and wish idle detection for gpu usage.
[done with 7.3.6] (I also wish the tray icon would change according to F@H state running or paused.)
