FAH uses too much

Need some help please.

I'm finding that FAH is using too much of my processing speed - something I need for my Photoshop & Flash work.
I'm finding it's even slowing down simpler programs such as MS Word.

I am using my computer all day - it is rare that my computer sits idle, and the slowing down of things is annoying me no end.
Right now, I seriously considering deleting it, but I want to give it another chance IF I can get it to use less and let me do more.

It has decided to use 2 folding slots, but it always seem to be up around 94-99% in process list and it's leaving me with very little spare (at times none)

How can I get it to use less?

If that's not possible, how can I tell it to not accept any more work after it finishes the current jobs?

Thanks

Pause or select finish on the GPU folding slot to see if that becomes more user friendly for you. Sounds like the client is running a GPU client which you prefer to use exclusively.

If you could post information on which version of the folding client you are using and your system, that would help in giving advice on changing your configuration so F@H has less impact on your own work. If you could also post the beginning of the log file to where folding is started, that also is helpful. You can post the log by enclosing it with Code tags that can be selected from the top of the Full Editor when posting and that will place it in a scrollable box when you submit it.

Please include the information about your installation that is requested in the announcement for this topic. (New members: Start here)

In general, Operating Systems are able to handle FAH using 100% of the UNUSED CPU time without impacting foreground performance because FAH runs at a very low priority. This is not necessarily true if you're folding with a GPU.
