Transfer credits to new account and delete old

Hello to F@H community
I've been folding on an account for a couple of weeks, and I'd like to change my user name. So I created a new user and I'm using the same passkey (in same team).
Things obviously didn't work out as I had hoped, I'm starting from 0 and it's quite depressing... I'd like to know if there is any means to update my new user name with my old credit, and delete my old user name. Or if there is a way to rename my old username.
Thanks in advance for your help!

you are better off sticking with your old user name if you want the points. points are never transferred. at least i have never heard of it.

It's only a loss of a couple of weeks work if you really want a new name.
I've got points spread out over several names for different teams and I don't let it bother me, the work turned in is the important part.

As long as you used the same passkey, just get the official points report using the passkey and you'll see all the names you've used.

Thank you all for your replies, I'll just start over and try to stick to this new user name from now on.

Are you saying that I can use the same passkey I have for different user names I may use?

It's not something people normally do, but yes, it is possible.
Every UserName+Passkey pair must be qualified separately. Searches in the official stats can consist of UserName only or Passkey only or UserName+Passkey so if you enter the right combination of keys, the official search is quite powerful. Third party stats engines provide some very nice features, but in unusual cases like this, they won't give you the same results.
