Will using my computer interfere with quality

Well I have some folding computers but this one im on i dont fold mainly because i think it will hurt the science if i use it while im folding. If this isnt the case please tell me so I can get this one up also.

No. Using your computer shouldn't interfere with F@h at all. Go ahead and use your computer at will. F@h is designed to run in the background while the user uses their computer.

What Jesse_V said. The only thing that can really happen is that the folding goes slower, but not that it becomes corrupted.

I have never seen any problems where normal use had any impact other than slowdown of the F@H unit. Even those using GPUs who do not pause the client while using other video intensive stuff report screen juddering etc are just reporting difficulty with use rather than corrupting units.
over-Overclocking and overheating causes more problems and then that results in early unit ends (EUE).

The folding client is designed to move out of the way when you are using your computer. The whole point is to use idle cpu cycles to promote research. But NO, using the computer does not hurt the results.
