I have had the System Booted up wich is at the Minute "Attempting to Send Results" and has been in this State for +7 Dyas now. Can anyone help. Its an older sytem but is quite good for f@h, and dont really use it for much else. Team 12864 is who I Fold for, tech-forums and its now shoing as 3 Clients Running in the lasrt 7 days. Can anyone help please. As opposed to 4.

Server 171.67.108.26 is a Collection Server which needs to be ignored. You need to back up to the IP address of the Work Server to which that the same WU is trying to upload. It helps if you post a significant portion of FAH's log.

This is a Portion of the f@h Log from this Michine wich is struggling to send back the WU I presume. Why dos the Collection server need to be Ignored and how do I back up the IP address of the Work server.

Thanks for posting the log. It was very helpful.

This is the first time I've seen a log that doesn't report the IP of the work server. I found it in another place and will ask the server's owner to see if he can figure out what's wrong. 171.67.108.42 does seem to be fully operational.

At the Minute I'm running CPU Client Version 6.23 Build November 26, 2008. How can I change the IP Address to send the WUs Back to the Address you have given. Its still stateing, "Attempting to send Results." Can you explaine in detail what I have to do?

You can't change the address. Somebody at Stanford will have to figure out what to do about it. So far nobody has replied to my query . . . but it has been the weekend.

Thanks for getting back Bruce, its a Load off my Mind. I've got the System shut down at the minute for the sake of my power consumption. Can you Inbox me here on the PM, and if you can let me know whats happening. After all I'm looseing PPD..

There's no good reason not to continue folding. A new WU will be assigned from a different server and I doubt that WU will have the same sort of problem. The client will continue to try to upload the result and either somebody will figure out how to fix the problem or eventually the WU will expire. Since you can't do anything about it your best choice is to just ignore it and let the client keep folding.
