My question. Are there in Win7 setup, which to auto restart such "hanging" applications?

That message occurs when for any reason, there were two copies of the folding client with the same machineID running at the same time. That would corrupt the fork files as both programs try to write to the same files. So to protect the previous work from corruption they shut down. Typically it happens when the client autostarts and is also manually started by the user. Invariably a reboot (allowing a normal autostart) will solve the problem.

In this case it appears that Win7 has started two copies. Is this possible?
It is during the weekend, and no people in the office. BIOS is set to POWER ON, and the client is started from the folder Startup.
All my computers are configured for 24/7 work.

Win 7 only does what you tell it to do.

Check for duplicate startup shortcuts, or a startup shortcut and a service running, etc.
