Keep getting a error msg amdocl.dll crashing while runing fah 7.1,52 I have uninstalled and reinstalled vid drivers and fah client. when i find where I put all the info i will post it. Windows 7 64bit. I dont know what else to add it then tells me I cant do that when I place log files and all the info here.

Machine has all OS updates, newest ATI Driver, newest FAH Client, uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times, tried older video driver 11.12. This machine been running fine until few weeks ago then started getting this error msg out of the blue. This machine doesnt nothing but Fold. Well it did nothing but Fold isnt doing to good now. PC nor video card are overclocked and never have been.

Error 0xc0000005 is being reported by Windows as an error in main memory. Have you run memtest86 recently? Is your RAM overclocked? Is it overheating?

Unfortunately it can also be caused by other things, including errors in a current version of the drivers, as you've already concluded.

did chkdsk and found some bad files to do with AMD it looked like stuff ran by rather fast and I didnt think to use pause so I could read it all but there was many files. No PC nore memory ever been OC everything is at defualt in bios, never had much luck OCing a AMD for some reason and the PC cranks out some nice work units when it works right. Think I will reinstall Win 7 see what happens. And no heat issues the pc runs much cooler then its Intel/nVida counterpart

Thx Bruce for narrowing the search, it was a stick of ram gone bad memtest found it right off, Thx. Now running on the good stick and all is ok so far. First stick of Corsair ram I EVER had a problem with. RMA approved ")
