So once we figure out how many proteins fold...

do you think it'll make a difference?

Maybe we should start a smoking@home club, and our screensaver will be "Quit Smoking Already!" and that's it.

I think it's okay to be negative about something, but continue to do that something because you said you would. Just venting....

AND I THINK PEOPLE FOR THE MOST PART SUCK!!! I moved to a suburb only to find people who won't even make eye contact. I've given up expecting a "hello" in return, so now I just wave. Do I really want to save people in general?

I find that the smarter a person is, the more that person cares about the world around them. I'm gifted. I don't want people confusing smart with say, rich, or good-looking. I'm not rich. ;) My point is that I think if every folding@home person, and everyone who is trying to make the world a better place, deserve a better place.

I don't supoose anyone else wonders if people are worth saving?

It started off sciency hahahaha. Maybe it should be moved to General Non-FAH.

But once we know how a protein folds, will it matter? Answer then move the thread *wink wink*

Hello Mike Ferguson,

Here's the description of just one study being performed by the F@h project at this time.

Can you think of any difference that just this single effort might make?
