Previous termination of the core was improper

Is there a proper way to terminate the core so that it runs with assembly optimizations on at next startup?

Hello cgdcaver, welcome to the forum. In most instances these days the error is cosmetic only, has no effect on speed. If running the SMP client, ignore that message.
