Folding loads me Geforce 570 with wus 8031 on the place 680X wus, and my computer shutdown.
My PC is a Amd 6000+ 2x3Ghz 4Go Ram + Asus Motherboard G-Surf365 ROG with Windows 7 Pro 64 and Geforce 570 PNY.
Is possible to return to 680X Wus ?

Is this temp related then? Did it shut down due to temperature, or did it shut down because the driver crashed in a bad way ( as these units seem to be utilizing the gpu better, your overclock might be unstable )?

My pc starts and Folding takes care, as soon as folding begin to calculate my pc goes out. I had no problem with wus 680X.
mon pc démarre et Folding se charge, dès que folding commence à calculer mon pc s'éteint. Je n'avais pas de problème avec les wus 680X.

What are your system specs ( I think your psu might be in for an upgrade )?
As to your question, there is no way to pick projects unless the project supports that ( through advmethods for instance ).

Yes, these WU load your GPU much faster and without any pause (for possible thermal dissipation)
I am running a 8033 right now on my 560 TI(dual fan msi Twin Freezzer II) for comparison.
I used MSI afterburner before and was able to keep below 60 C using less than 80 % fan.
I am now at 100 % fan and holding at 60 C with two 120 fans exhausting from the gpu out perpendicular to an open side case.
Also as I type, there is a significant screen lag...up to two or three characters.. and I am not a fast typist.
Conclusion: your 570 has a much larger wattage and thermal loading.
I would check for dust, improve airflow, eliminate OC, and install a GPU temp. monitoring program.
The good news is that these WU are using very near 100% of the potential of the GPU compute potential.
The bad news is that many donors will need to reconsider the thermal load on their rigs.
EDIT: as MtM mentions, since your entire system crashes almost immediately, you could well be overloading your 12V PCIE rail.
This would be dependent on the specific PSU rail layout and protection.

Yeah it does not look like dust or airflow, those would kick in during processing and his rig shuts down right at the start -> hence amp pull and psu not up to the task. At least that's what I suspect. If he has an oc, dropping that might get him within the envelope of his psu's capabilities, if he's stock, he can underclock to see if it folds normally, and if so decide to get a better power supply.

Yeah, I concur.
We will definitely be seeing more of these posts.

My PC is not under overclock whether it is for the graphics board or the cpu, I have a supply of 600 Watts , and only the gpu calculation.
Amd 6000+ 2 x 3Ghz with Geforce 570, Windows 7 Pro 64.

Yes, 600 watts is enough, but the specific brand and layout is important.
You could be pulling 300 watts on the GPU card.
Edit: OK, 220 watts without OC...maybe a little more with these WU.

Some PSU are rated for 600 watts total, but much less is available for the specific 12 V rail going to the PCIE connectors for your card.
Also, some have Over-Volt protection that might kick in at higher loads.
Also, as I mentioned before, since this is an older rig? Yes?
The potential for fin blockage is great. You would be surprised how fast dust blocks when folding 24/7.
At lower usage it might not have been a problem...just another area to investigate.

My power supply is Zalman 600, is ready for SLI. I have only one 570 and X2 CPU on my PC.

I have no problem with Boinc, with the GPU in 75 % and cpus in 100 %.

That's 16A on each rail, in in theory should be enough ( nvidia recommends 550w and 50A total iirc?? ). But, per line, that's rather low and I don't know how you wired it. Also, it quite an old psu model ( it says sli certified but I doubt it shipped with two x6 and two x8 plugs ).
Can you try a newer psu, from a friend or maybe go to a store and ask if they want to help rule this out?

Yeah, 16 A per pcie rail.
The Over-current protection is probably kicking in.
While a good PSU in its day, many newer enthiusiast models have 20 A or none to avoid this problem with high wattage cards.

See if you can change PCIE connectors to use more than one rail to your card.
Edit: I'll let MtM take over, since he is beating me to posting and I need to head to work anyway.

I not possible for me, to test with new PSU.
Tank for you reply.

How did you wire it? one x8 from a +12 and one x6 from other x12, or did you use an extender ( pci to pcie or what they are callen ( 4pin power for hdd's ect ) )? You might get things running if you try balancing the load more, but it will be tricky. The best solution is a beefier psu. Or maybe an underclock on the gpu, power draw on those go up when you overclock and by a big margin, I'm counting a nice underclock will make it draw a lot less as well.. up to you to decide if running with lower clocks is worth it to keep folding.

Just FYI, and for anyone else GPU FOLDING.
Recently Antec and a number of others have come out with Plat. rated PSU at a reasonable price.
KINGWIN Absolute Platinum Series AP-550 550W ATX 12V v2.2, EPS 12V v2.91 and SSI EPS 12V v2.92 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PLATINUM
is Less than $100 US.
The OP rig is probably pulling around 300 watts DC
300/.82 = 365 watt at the wall.
With a new plat.
300/.92 = 326 watt
The 39 watt difference equals about $41 at average .12 residential wattage cost in the US.
In Europe, I am assuming you would pay off the investment by power savings alone in well under 2 years. (someone folding 24/7)
