Server Issues Today (2-4-2012)? [Resolved]

A number of my machines seem to have encountered 'server issues' over the last couple of hours, in that they cannot recieve new work - currently five clients waiting (GPU's and CPU) on different servers (see link) ....

Did you check the status of those servers on http://fah-web.stanford.edu/serverstat.html?

You didn't post any logs or list any specific servers that your clients are having trouble with so we really can't help you.

My GPU2 client (core 11) can't get a WU or upload the current WU either.

No response.
I'm getting zero response from any url with "stanford.edu" in it, even the school's home page.

Good to know I'm not the only one. The few internet based ping pages I tested say that stanford pages are pingin/working fine, but my computers can't get connection either on the client or on webpages.

From here on the East coast can't connect to anything at stanford.edu. Pings also are at 100% loss. This has been since 7:30 AM PST at least, logs from two machines trying to get new assignments and upload completed WU's confirm that. They last connected to upload the previous WU's at about 6:15 AM PST.

Update: 5 minutes after posting and my last test of connectivity, Stanford is now reachable. Let the up/downloading commence!
