Have I lost this?

Hell Folks :)
When I went to bed last night the below SMP WU was around 98% complete. I must have been really creamed I left the PC on, but turned the router off. After some fiddling about this morning this WU was pronounced dead.
Fortunately I had backed up both WUs I'm currently processing, therefore I restored Project: 2653 (Run 12, Clone 198, Gen 94) which left here complete at 05:37, I know for a fact I've seen two FAH stats updates with no addition to my team score.
Can I assume from that I've lost it now

Cheers *hondo* :)

If your getting a successfully sent, it should show up. Just give it some time.

"Use IE connection settings: Yes"
Change this to No to save any problems. See the Wiki if you need help changing the client.

Hi *hondo* (team 51078),
Your WU (P2653 R12 C198 G94) was added to the stats database on 2008-04-12 00:18:28 for 0 points of credit.

Something you did seems to have confused the server resulting in zero credit. The server thinks you submitted the WU multiple times.
Days taken to complete WU: 0.06

Hi Guy's thank you for the response's :)

I dunno but I must have been using IE setting "yes" since I started processing SMPs about 6 to 8 weeks ago, this hasn't given me any problems before :?

My concern is, the WU uploaded over 9 hours ago, but so far hasn't shown up in the stats. Usually after the completion of a WU it's updated in the stats within an hour or two. :?

Thanks *hondo*

ChelseaOilman Thank you very much for the feed back, TBH I thought it was screwed when I realised I'd had the router turned off over night. Although I did think the backup would save the day.

It's odd though, the other SMP the PC was processing at the same time survived without the aid of the backup.

 Those were the day's 29,333.33 PPD :D

If you still have a backup you could try uploading from the computer that originally downloaded the WU. That might get you credit for the WU.

Thanx again ChelseaOilman.
I'm afraid this is not possible, I delete the prior back ups, when I see the WUs are gone. :-(

BTW do you know why it is the SMP WUs normally fail if you turn off, and leave off the router.

I know its a lot long in the tooth now but how would someone get on doing SMPs, if they were OMG still on Dial Yuk?

Some reading for you from the Folding@home SMP FAQ.

When something happens to my network (changing settings or other tweaks), the FAH/SMP client has problems.

And

How to prevent network drops from killing the Windows SMP folding client in Windows XP

Good luck. :)
