Hi used to fold 2 years ago back then there was a client that could use GPU and CPU cores at the click of a button i was wondering if there was a client that does that still cause i whould like to use what i can

Currently V7.1.24 beta client is able to handle calculations on CPU and GPU with much ease.

i have a gtx 465 for some reason the FAH idles all my drivers are updated and i dont even know how to correctly add cpu slots and what not

configure >> slots >> add >> choose "uniprocessor" or "smp" slot (for dual core or more) then click on ok.....the new slot is added and automatically download a WU

anything else i need to change ? GPU goes from running 0.0% to..... Ready 0.0% and keep doing it
EDIT* i got a CPU to start going but my GPU is still hanging up and not starting it says UPDATE CORE now o.0 confused

which driver you use ? If have the latest drivers you should download the old driver 266 and test again

UNKNOWN_ENUM (-1) means that the FahCore is not finding your GPU. If you look on the System tab you'll find that V7.1.24 does not detect your GPU correctly. That's a known bug in the current beta version.

Ticket #661 and search this forum for "whitelist" for more information. The next public beta will fix your problem.

The Pande Group does not give ETAs on client release dates. It should be coming vaguely soonish, but vaguely soonish covers anywhere from "tomorrow" to "a couple months".

This is a known bug but it is possible to fix this by downloading the old Nvidia driver 266.58 !
I had this problem with a GTS450 fixed with a old driver.
