Easy way to test that thought. Download and run a v6 client to see if it gets work. Let us know how it turns out. ;)

The server status page shows that server is up and running.

Anything like a proxy or firewall that might be blocking that IP address?

Another quick test. Reconfigure the v5 client with a new Machine ID number. Did it go to the same server for work? If different, did it get work?

This server was exceptionally busy. I've alerted the Pande Group and suggested that the uniprocessor assignment process needs to be re-balanced to distribute processing across more servers. I can already see evidence this has been improved.

There's never a guarantee that you'll get a new assignment on the first try, but the old rule-of-thumb was to report it if it took more that 10 minutes. [The log (above) shows more than 11 minutes so obviously it needed something to be changed.] We've grown accustomed to getting new assignments on the first or second try. I'd be very happy if that always happened, but there will always be exceptions where it takes somewhat longer.
