Folding with DNA, too!

Researchers at MIT are looking at the folding of engineered DNA to make it fold into functional shapes

Yea, DNA is appealing for nanotech since it is much easier to predict its folding properties (at least its secondary structure) than proteins, but this is a pretty different use of DNA than what nature does, so it doesn't help in terms of medical applications.
