Welcome to the F@H Forum Joshua_Mahr,

I believe that you might be encountering a similar error in this thread (viewtopic.php?f=55&t=17792).

However, if it happens with other WUs from different Projects, then you may want to read this (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=17794).

Which was supposedly fixed yesterday as well, according to that thread. But the fix might be forward looking only (on new WUs, not previous ones).

When was the WU downloaded? Many server-based fixes apply only to WUs downloaded after the fix is installed.

Still this morning will not upload? I am not a expert folder. Need help in what to do. 7im what was fixed? BigAdv?

http://130.237.165.141 is not even in the server status list (which might be the problem), but http://171.67.108.25 is up and running, so how are you connecting to the web? Have you rebooted since you've tried to upload the result? and when was the workunit downloaded (as Bruce asked)?

Yes I have shut down the comp and restarted. Work units were downloaded the 1st and the 4th I believe. What can I do? I am afraid the next BIGADV I am working on will not go through.

What happens if you click on this http://171.67.108.25 Do you get OK? How are you connected to the web? Can you also post the end of the last work unit when it completed and tried to upload.

Change your checkpoint to some value higher than 3 minutes, otherwise the client wastes time writing checkpoints more often than it needs to.

If the work unit doesn't upload or expire in the next day or two, we can discuss the option of deleting that one work unit, unless you want to try that now...

Stop the client (watch those ckp file times and don't shutdown when they are scheduled to write). Run with -smp -configonly and answer yes to change the advanced options. Change the checkpoint time to 15 minutes (or whatever you want certainly not 3). While you are there I don't think you need the forceasm flag anymore. Then fire it up again.

Are these the first Big Adv workunits you've done? The message "Couldn't send HTTP request to server" and the fact that the servers are up and running would suggest the problem lies with your network connection. If you can give us some details (firewalls, antivirus, connection speeds etc) then we should be able to sort out the problem.

No I have done about 20 or so big advances before these. I have DSL modem bridged to a ClearOS machine for my router/firewall. I have not changed any of the settings on the ClearOS machine since this started,
