"Folding@home has run into a serious error running the core. and will shut down."

Not sure if it is a problem on my end or this WU, but this above pop-up appeared and then one of my CPU Systray shut down.

I have tried deleting the WU, core and quedat files, but it just redownloads the same WU and immediately shuts down again.

In addition to deleting the WU, queue.dat and work folder, change the Machine ID of your client. Then you should get new WUs.

Thanks Fireball0236, but before I was able to try changing the Machine ID, the same WU was downloaded again, and it seems to be (so far) running without any problems.

This looks related to this topic: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=16581&start=0 (same Project types and server too). According to yslin it should be fixed, which'd explain why it started working for you.
