i have a gpu3 client and in previous logs it has conneced to this server but now ot just says attempting to get work packet

What video card? If a 4xx, had the -advmethods flag. You should get a wu from 171.67.108.32

That server is currently down but your client should automatically find another server. Please post FAHlog.

I have a GTS 450 running -advmethods which is trying to upload all yesterdays completed WUs to this server without success.

On the server stats page it seems to show the server is OK, but it quite clearly isn't. Am I missing something?

I run the computer for about 8hrs/day and as far as I can see looking at its FAHlog it is not attempting to access another server to send back data.

I have tried using -send all and -oneunit at various points without success, is there anything else I can try?

As an aside, and I may be just unlucky, but October was a bad month for me regarding results servers both for my GTS 450 and SMP clients at various times.

Vsp11v is another name for 171.67.108.20. It has been temporarily disconnected from the Assignment Server while they upgrade the Work Server software. The other servers that have been upgraded recently generally have taken a day or two.

That's good to hear.

That's one of the biggest reasons for the update to the server code. The other server is known as a Collection Server and it wasn't working with the older Work Server code.
