Have been having trouble with this server on and off for days.
I can get the OK response if I enter the address via IE8 or ping it directly from my router diagnostics page, but at the moment I'm unable to upload finished WUs to it.
I know the particular computer and router are OK as I'm able to upload uniprocessor WUs processed on it without problem.
I'm using a GTS 450 card on this machine and it is processing WUs without producing errors.
I have another computer fitted with a pair of GTX 460s which are uploading without problem.
I assume the problem is at the Stanford end?

Re: 171.67.108.32
I don't see a problem with that server in Server Status. Did you check to make sure no security apps are blocking the WU? Such as a firewall?
Please be sure to work through the troubleshooting tips in the stickied topic here.

Re: 171.67.108.32
I have tried disabling the firewall in Windows and my router firewall, the WU will still not upload.
I have talked to my ISP and they have confirmed they are not blocking 171.67.108.32
I enclose my latest log, would be grateful if someone could shine some light on the problem.

Re: 171.67.108.32
probably just means the server is busy.(Got status 503)
From the stickied topic:
If it's an upload problem and the server appears to be in trouble, the client is designed to deal with this issue. After the first couple of upload attempts, it should try both the Work Server for that project and a Collection Server. If both fail, the client will keep the result in the local queue and will re-attempt the upload periodically without need for you to intervene.

Problem with Assignment Server?????
Is there currently a problem with the assignment server? I have heard from several folders that they are unable to get any GPU3 wu at the moment. The following three lines are from the log file posted by one of my fellow team members.
Connecting to assignment server
No appropriate work server was available; will try again in a bit.
Couldn't get work instructions

I did read that one already and figured this was a different issue. That one was started 2 days ago, and he resolved the issue by reinstalling the client. The current issue is affecting many more people.PantherX wrote:Related Thread -> viewtopic.php?f=59&t=16352

Wouldn't that be the same issue as this one: viewtopic.php?f=59&t=16352 It must be time for the OpenMM guys to collect their results and issue more work. More people are buying fast fermi hardware. (I'm ordering one today.)

Re: Problem with Assignment Server?????
It was a problem with the servers. I had the same issue on 3 GPUs in 2 separate systems, was still getting the error message at 15:58:04 but then one GPU got a response at 16:09 UTC and the other 2 a bit later when they next tried.rjbelans wrote:Looks like everybody is getting GPU3 wu again, but one report of CPU not getting a wu.
Is there a rolling server or network upgrade going on right now?
