I am running GPU3 BETA Client and I got this WU when using the -advmethods flag. GTX 260 SOC on Windows 7 64-bit. The WU is running extremely slow. Here are the TPF from HFM.NET:
Project ID: 6604
Core: GROGPU2
Credit: 450
Frames: 100

Name: GPU2
Path: D:\F@H GPU2\
Number of Frames Observed: 300

Min. Time / Frame : 00:00:52 - 7,476.92 PPD
Avg. Time / Frame : 00:00:54 - 7,200.00 PPD

Name: GPU3
Path: D:\F@H GPU3\
Number of Frames Observed: 30

Min. Time / Frame : 00:01:56 - 3,351.72 PPD
Avg. Time / Frame : 00:02:12 - 2,945.45 PPD
Cur. Time / Frame : 00:02:00 - 3,240.00 PPD
R3F. Time / Frame : 00:01:58 - 3,294.92 PPD
All Time / Frame : 00:01:58 - 3,294.92 PPD
Eff. Time / Frame : 00:02:18 - 2,817.39 PPD

The GPU2 results are just for comparison.

Your post is not very clear ... you said that Project: 6604 was slow, but it's a GPU2 project, and your benchmarks show that your GPU3 are actually low, not your GPU2 ones ...

I meant that the WU that I received (Project: 6604 (Run 1, Clone 489, Gen 109)) was very slow when compared to the other WUs from the same Project. For me that was weird as this Project yields roughly 7000 PPD (I added GPU2 for reference) but this particular WU was roughly 3000 PPD. As I upgraded to the GPU3 Client, this is the first time that I got this Project and it shouldn't make any difference as it uses the same FAHCore_11 as the GPU2 Client to process the WU (that's in theory at least).

Well if I read it correctly, you got a GPU2 project (advmethods) and ran it on the GPU3 client. The normal times
for your card are :53 SPF on the 660X projects with GPU2. With the GPU3 clients it was running at 2:00 MPF.

If that is correct, I would say you got locked into 2D mode. Which has happened to several. Rebooting the
machine, seems to be the only reliable fix. That worked for me, the only time I have seen it.

RAH: you are correct, unfortunately, at that time, I never saw any video driver errors or anything that implied that something went wrong, and thought that the WU was the problem. Later I found the what caused the slow down but not what triggered it. I have started a thread here: (http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=14831) BTW anything specif you did that caused your GPU to get fixed in 2D mode?
