Ok guys I have 3 PC's at work which run Q9550 and a Nvidia FX 3700 each. Can I fold on these and yet save WU to memory stick and take home to upload teh work? If so how? Can I also set it up so over weekend it can crunch 3 or 4 WU and save all the data for me to take home monday and upload at home?

Why are you asking? FAH runs on both XP and Vista. Sneakernetting is not supported by Stanford, but most people who try using it are successful, and the versions of Windows that you use don't really matter except in some rather unusual circumstances.

Ah ok. I was reading on the site above and said you tend to have to have both systems on same OS

I have systems on XP, Vista, and Seven. They all use the same version of the FAH client the cores. I don't sneakernet any more, but I used to and I can't see any reason it wouldn't work between those systems. Win2000 and Win98 require older clients and if you tried it with those older systems I suppose it would be problematic.

Make sure to upload the work unit using the same System ID and same Machine ID, or the work server may not accept the work unit back. The Wiki entry should have a note about that. It's a security feature.
