Simulating an entire cancer cell or the interaction between a number of cells is a massive job compared to simulating a single protein. Even thinking about it boggles my mind. If science can pick out a single protein (say on the surface of the cell) that is the key to the whole process, some useful information might be added to the discussion, but otherwise it's just too big of a problem.
