Not sure where this goes so i've posted it here.
Do these look genuine or is someone using an illegal borg? There are 3400 clients all running standard cpu clients by the looks of the WU and points. I hope it is genuine given that they are folding for one of the biggest teams out there

Before cyring wolf, why not do a bit more analysis? Are the number of clients growing exponentially like FTL borgs did? Or is this just some big corporate farmer with a steady number of clients? Did this user just pop up overnight, or grow steadily over many months?
IMO, having large numbers of clients is not enough basis for concern, IMO! Especially now when corporate systems are coming with 4 cores and up. 3400 clients is only 850 quads, or 425 servers.

Again, what is the basis for suspicion?

I think its the large amount of clients, over 3000 between 4 kongZi variations, in a short time.
But as you stated, a larger facility could deploy it too. I'm not suspicious, just providing more info.
Edit4
EOC shows the 1st started in Dec, and exploded in Feb, but seems to be on a decline. The other 2 came out hard in Feb too.
So for all that care, judge yourself

I'm not crying wolf i'm asking a question.
To answer yours, The user popped up over night, and is still ramping. don't know how to track the number of clients so can't answer that.
There are now 3 kongzi users so IMHO something is a bit fishy, most people who can produce that kind of PPD for the large teams normally post on the team forum - these haven't.
Kongzi3 just taken from HardFoldings stats site,
Week points WU
04-04 938,310 11,970
03-28 580,474 7,010
03-21 32,025 552
Given that rate of growth i'm not convinced. perhaps one of the mods or a member of Pande who has access to more info can do a wee bit of investigating and feed back to us, if its not a cause for concern then i am happy to let the matter rest and have the thread locked.

3-4 months is overnight? It might take me that long just to install that many CPU clients. And, as you said, most, but not all people post in a team forum. I have big folders on my team that never post. They're too busy maintaining clients...
Kongzi is actually in decline for PPD. K2 and K3 are moving up. Borg's don't tend to decline in PPD, they just keep spreading. So far, everything is explainable. And unless someone complains about folding without permission using one of those user names, then there isn't anything more we can do but watch. Expressed concern is as far as we can go.
