Just started using the site recently, what a great way to add some help to the cause. My first folding scenario completed, now I am getting the following messages from the program.

1)Attempting to get work packet.

2)Couldn't get work instructions (located in lower left corner of screen display)

What have I done wrong?

Please find FAHlog.txt in your client's directory. Copy the first 30 lines and then the last part showing the work unit sending and trying to get more work. We need that information to try to help you.

Change that to No.

Just open the log file and change it then save it?

No. Do not edit that file. Run the client with -configonly switch.

Also, disable the proxy, as I doubt you are using one.

You're right, but the first post sounds like the GUI client, not the console.

I think the correct answer for your client is to reconfigure with the menu.

In the menu shown here (after item 6) there should be no check marks in the first three items for most people. The one at the bottom of that menu item is optional.
