I had a chance to talk with John Blaha, an astronaut who worked on the MIR and the subject of the manned space program being cancelled came up. he talked about the science that wasnt possible in gravity like growing replacement kidneys from DNA and growing protein crystals and applications to drug possibilities and diseases. What are they and is it anything we work on?
