I just started folding three days ago and has now completed 50% of the work unit. However, I still have zero points in my "User Statistics" Page. I am wondering where did my points go.
P.S Do I get the points after I finish the work unit?

Yes, you get points AFTER you finish a WU.

Once a WU gets to 100%, the result will be uploaded. The points normally appear on the next Stats update (an hour or two later), but occasionally even later. If you use 3rd party stats there will be an additional delay.
