I had a WU fail on me today it is the first 1 that has ever failed on that machine. It is running it again and perhaps it will complete it this time. But I was curious at to what would cause the CoreStatus = FF (255) error. I do not recall seeing this error before. The one thing that has changed on this machine is I upgraded from VM 2 to VM 3 today

How much memory did you allocate to your VM?

I had 1556mb allocated

This one failed for me, too, but before even 1% was completed... It was running on Mac Pro with dual C2D processors and 8GB of memory assigned.

(No special action was needed to clear the bad WU -- automatically reassigned a different WU after repeated failure threshold passed.)
