An Anniversary of Sorts

10 years ago today (Oct 22, 1999) I met a new Stanford chemistry professor at a meeting with a VC. He was barely finished moving into his office, didn't event have students yet, and wanted to do protein folding research using computational methods - still considered a fringe idea at the time. He was interested in how I had done things with distributed.net and doing something like it, and I was looking for new projects for Cosm. That semi-chance encounter led to a collaboration, and here we are 10 years later.
Now that I've successfully made myself feel 10 years older...
(Vijay considers the anniversary based from the launch date, so the F@h 10 year anniversary is coming up)
