F@H Application Question?

Ok, I am running a Pentium D 945 processor, it is a dual core processor.

At the moment right now I am running Two 6.23v F@H console clients as services, one for each core "No HT".

My question is, Would it be better to run the FAH6.23beta-win32-SMP-mpich vs the two console clients? I am aware of the bugs on smp-mpich.

Should I stick to what I am using atm.

I read this but does not state how old dual core is old.

FAH6.23beta-win32-SMP-mpich:
You must have a computer with at least a recent dual core processor or better to run the SMP client. This also means older single core processors will not meet the very short work unit deadlines.

My processor is 24/7 stable@ http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=699091

You can always try.. I run a smp on an e2180 dual @ 2.0Ghz, and easilycome in under deadline.... Thats the important thing, the deadlines are like 7 days.

If you can do it, giver.

If my memories are correct, the minimum clock speed for a Pentium D to make Windows SMP deadlines was 2.5 GHz ... ;)
