Hi,

we created a german Foldingteam named BerlinFolders. And one of our users made a bad joke with his username. Is there a possibility to delete this username from the list, or throw out of the team?

EDIT: Of course we spoke to him, and it is ok with him, to delete the user and lose the 1 WU, he made. We just want to kick this old username...

No, it's not possible. Pande Groups policy is, once WUs are submitted, no changes to the stats are permitted. This has always been the case.

Actually, it would depend on the level of offense of the Donor name in question.

You can PM me the donor name, and I will see what can be done if deemed necessary.

We don't delete donors as a matter of policy. But there have been very few instances that warranted a manual change of a donor name.

EDIT: I looked.... I don't think that would be a priority level offense. There are two other donors with that same donor name.

Your quote looks to me, to be just a general quote. IE... I see no name attributed to the quote. Actually, in your original post, I see no quote format at all. It looks as if you are stating it directly.

Essentially, the quote/statement that you posted is correct in most all cases. But some of us MOD's are a bit more "seasoned" for the lack of a better term. Meaning that we have been around a bit longer than some of the newer MOD's, and have seen things that are not of the "normal status quo", when the situation calls for it.

I was also PMd by Bruce regarding this, so I understand that exceptions may occur, though they are rare.

The reason the person in that thread wanted changes to the stats didn't warrant an exception. I didn't want to raise his hope by saying there are rare exceptions when changes could be made. Of course there's always an exception to a rule.

I at first just wondered why two moderators had different ideas about the same thing.
But I may have expressed myself poorly, didn't mean to offend anyone.
