fahmon cannot see mt vmware clients!!!

no matter how i configure fahmon i cannot get it to see my vmware smp clients :(
i have used this guide to set them up http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=100 ... age=1&key=
and cannot get it to monitor them at all

i've been using the location as \\<192.168.11.2>\c\i7-1\ thats ip of my client. fahmon says loading..... then goes grey and displays N\A

please help me !

Have you tried \\192.168.11.2\c\i7-1\ :?:

I think you left out the "/etc" in that address but I don't have a VM to monitor here so I can't verify it.

I'm going to assume that you're trying to run FahMon from Windows.

You should be able to build up the address one step at a time and open the directory containing the actual data from the Windows "Network" application. It's somewhat different in XP and in Vista, but looking at the entire network you should be able to open \\192.168.11.2 and it will show whatever directories are shared on that machine -- presumably C. Open it and it should contain \etc and so forth until you find files like queue.dat and FAHlog.txt.

Mine look like \\ the server\\c\etc\folding\1\ so yes no etc

wow done it at last !! many thanks !!! im using windows 7 so was different as well my address ended up being
\\Fold-5b0d\c\etc\folding\1

FYI you could also use http://192.168.11.2/1
