I'm currently unable to send results to this collection server or get new assignment.

Stopped and restarted the client and get more of the same...

Yes, this collection server is overloaded. Unfortunately that is a relatively common problem and it's not likely to be fixed until all the servers are converted to the new server code.

Collection servers are there as a backup for multiple work servers. The first line of defense is to identify and fix the problem with the primary work server. When that server is down, the collection servers do manage to accept a fraction of the work that would normally go to the primary server, so they "help" but they are not a substitute for reliable work servers.

Unfortunately you have omitted any references to the primary work server associated with your WU so I can't help identify that problem.

Sorry I haven't had much experience checking server status, troubleshooting, etc.

It appears the original work server was 171.64.65.102 and my client has been able to establish a connection since my last post.

I'll go back and read some of the posts on how to correctly troubleshoot servers before posting issues.

No problem.

I was just wishing I could help at the time I posted. Next time include both IP addresses in the title -- or just the work server, since that's where the WU is supposed to go anyway.
