Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
Is there any way to infer the status (beta, advanced, full) of a project from the Project Summary page without having to search through the Announcements?
And if not, any chance it could be added?
I'm thinking in particular of a recent project (can't remember which one) that "reverted" to an earlier status at least once.

Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
The QD tool is the only one I know that can pull that info from a work unit.
Sometimes you can determine the status from the Server Status page, but because a single project can have a series of work units designated as both advanced and full fah (public), checking each work unit is the only way to be sure.
In the "OS_Weight_Program_Port" column for each server, the Program setting determines the WU status. Another problem is that multiple projects can be assigned from each server. So while project 1 may be set to A for advanced, project 2 could be set for F for Full fah (public) release, and the server column would show both A and F settings.

billford is going off topic, so this should be split out to a new topic.
The 3rd Party applications section of this forum has a Tools List sticky topic.

Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
Thanks… it looks quicker to search the Announcements
@ 7im- the question of third-party apps didn't arise until your reply to my question… but no matter, I'm done now anyway.

Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
Doggone it, I got credited for 3 WUs at once, so no idea what my points were for that WU by itself. No biggie, all will be revealed, in it's own time.Joe_H wrote:As announced about a week and a half ago - viewtopic.php?f=24&t=25814. Re: Where are all the Core17 units?
If at all possible, I highly recommend trying the 327.23 or 314.22 drivers. Going beyond 327.23 on my GTX 680 results in roughly a doubling of TPF, and consequently a massive loss of PPD (70-90k down to 25-35k).SPACEMAN7 wrote:I see a new core 17 WU, the p9401, which I'm guessing is newly released out of Beta, or something like that. I sent my first one in earlier, & I'm around 10% done with the second. On my GTX 680, it's showing a little over 38k ppd. EDIT: BTW, this is with the 332.21 WHQL drivers.

I just re-enabled the advanced flag on my GPU clients and will be keeping an eye out for the new WUs .
Edit: I'm running two P9401 WUs, R5 C0 G13 on my spare machine's GTX 570, R721 C0 G15 on my GTX 680. The 570's doing about 32,550 PPD, the 680 a hair over 95,000 .
