From team members who are still using this server, they are still getting work after a delay. From here it looks like as WU's come in they are causing the next generation WU to be created. When enough are available, those go out. Will wait to see what PG says about future work.

Hence the "most" of a week instead of "all" week. ;)

More specifically, the NMJ goes to 0 (work available) a few times in the last week. And the WUs Returned column is often zero, or single digit. See the server log for detail.

Received new WU 10:47 PST / 18:47 GMT.

If WUs are no longer available then what are our other options for Folding other than Beta work ???

Upgrade to the V7 client. Client is beta, the work it folds is not.

The V7 OS-X client beta has some pretty interesting screen bugs if you try to adjust the windows on on the screen but it folds quite well as long as you just open the GUI (FAHControl), look at it or use it to change settings, and then close it.

I guess that I'll wait for the OS X V7 to come out of Beta and hopefully with an InCrease interface.
I prefer the KISS method of operation with no User Interface required to keep the WU running on multiple computers both locally and remote.

Please look at the V7 FAHControl interface before making any assumptions and dismissing it. Like Bruce said, FAHControl is NOT required to keep the client running. FAHControl only configures the client, like InCrease. Then you close it.

And there may never be an InCrease interface for V7. Unfortunately, the choices are limited.

Unable to get WUs for 2 Macs - 47 are listed as available.

Really bad things happen if a server actually runs out of WUs. The servers are required to stop assigning WUs before they run out. The 47 probably represents the threshold under the current conditions for that server. Whenever a server reaches that threshold, you should be redirected to another server if there is one that has assignments that match the requirements of your system though that doesn't happen instantly.

All of my Macs are using this Server.
All Macs are using V6.29r1 and SMP Core V2.22.
Is there any other Server that can provide WUs for this configuration ?
How can I force the Mac to switch to another Server when this Server is either down or out of WUs ?

You can't. Especially if there are no other options.

The V7 client does have access to more projects on other servers -- or you can wait until more of the WUs that are being processed are returned.

I pinged the PG. As a general rule, they don't issue duplicate assignments or "busy work" -- only work that's scientifically useful -- so when there's no more work to be done, it's an indication that specific projects have been completed or at least are winding down.

Is there any estimate of when this Server will stop receiving new WUs thus forcing me to switch all of my Macs using OS V10.6.8 to F@H V7 client ?

Seems like the only WUs coming in for the past week are WUs completed by other users. No new WUs have been added, according to the log.

I did update my Mac Mini to Folding@Home Gromacs SMP Core Version 2.22 (May 7 2010).
