My Win7 64bit machine (computer name Delta in my table) experienced the 'throttling' problems with V7, but not with V6.

At that stage of the problem solving I didn't realise that windows version mattered, so didn't include it.

@k1wi Have you noticed any improvement with v7.1.38?

I have yet to test v7.1.38 on my SMP/BigAdv machine, but I'll have a look at getting that underway tonight.
