7im should be able to do the necessary updates. The exclamation mark is indeed a typo so it should be fixed.

You are correct, I wanted to see a tread per guide, not a main guides thread so we can follow in which guide we need to improve things. The idea of adding at the bottom of each guide about making new threads to make suggestions for improvement, this is where community awareness can be improved.

And thanks for welcoming me back ;)

Just a word of praise, I burnt through the CPU smp install guide like a breeze :0)

The exclamation mark is just a spelling issue and not important, the question wether it would be handy to link to the nvidia faq instead of just mentioning it is a more important one, just as the post I made about service install references for gpu clients ( or am I outdated again, and the gpu3 client for instance will run as service  ). And while most people know that when vista is referenced, it also entails windows 7, but as windows XP and 2003 are mentioned seperatly I thought it might be better to name vista/windows 7 seperatly as well.

Thanks for not totally putting me down 7im, reading the thread back the way I presented myself and 'my case' was a prime example of my communication problems :)

I've completed all of your update suggestions, except for the one to add a link to the NV FAQ. That update would be simple if that CPU Affinity information was actually in the NV FAQ. I'll have to track it down on Fah Addict or someplace like that, add it to the FAQ, and then add a link to it as you suggested.

The affinity is mentioned in the wiki I thought, I'll look..

*I looked, but I can't find half of what I thought was there before. Nothing about gpu clients after the initial ati 1xxx client?

I feel ashamed, I should be making myself atleast abit more usefull then being grumpy ol MtM

Either way, I even thought I already had an active account on the wiki but my username is not known, signing up now! If toTow doesn't object I'll start with putting the gpu environment variables in the wiki ( again? ).

Edit: removed irrelevant personal observations.

Edit2: slightly edited version of the article is now on the wiki -> http://fahwiki.net/index.php/Environmen ... _variables
