Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
Oh, I didn't need to do that with 5.03. Didn't realise they'd changed the file location with this update.
...and stop spying on people's names in the Fah logs!
Thanks for your help.

FahMon 2.3.4 Released
FahMon 2.3.4 is now available for download here: http://fahmon.net/download.html
What's new in this release:
* This version fixes the nasty bug in 2.3.3 which cause clients to fail to update after non-specific periods of time. This was caused by a typo in the update queue handler which now works properly.
* CPU usage has been reduced slightly when refreshing clients thanks to a re-worked message logger.
* clientstab.txt is now tab-delimited. This has no effect on FahMon, but may break compatibility with other tools that read this file.
As always if you find any bugs in FahMon please report them using trac

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
Dear Uncle,
Would it be possible to make FahMon detect EUE's (esp. for the GPU2-client) and give a visible warning? Maybe in an extra column, so you can show if there have been EUE's and how many. It would probable by usefull to be able to configure the timespan that FahMon verifies: i.e. if you're able to check you system regularly, you only want to be notified of EUE's in the last few hours. Whereas for others it may be usefull to see all EUE's in the last 48h's or week.
TIA,
Corné

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
I've thought about it a little more and it may be better to add a this feature in the [View]- or [Tools]-menu. Something like 'Parse the logfile for EUE's'. The output could be a table with the columns 'Client-type (CPU, SMP, etc.), Core, Project, date/time'.CBT wrote:Dear Uncle,

Being compatible with Vista broke that.Flathead74 wrote:and to think that Fahmon used to be such a tidy little app., able to run solely from it's own directory...

I will be one of the troglodytes that stays with Windows XP Pro SP2 and an earlier version of this fine application.

Fungus - Any chance of 2.3.5 with the GPU2 Core 13 to come up with something other than 'unknown'??
Or better still - being able to rename it in a config file? I'd like to call it crapsicle or something.

Re: FahMon (multi-platform app to monitor various F@h clients)
core 13 should already be supported. That's something I fixed in 2.3.4 since it was broken in 2.3.3. You may still have to update the projects database to get FahMon to actually "see" the data.
