I am not getting a response from
http://171.64.65.71/ so no matter what serverstat is telling me, the server isn't running.

I wonder why than the assignment server insist on assigned it (and hanging up my clients in the meanwhile);

This same condition was reported over the weekend so I'm sure the developers are aware of it. The only answer I can give you is that they've specifically said they're working on it. As with all bugs, sometimes things get worse before they get better
but this isn't worse . . . it's still the same.

The NET LOAD on this server has gone down quite a bit and I'm now getting a response from
http://171.64.65.71/. Presumably that means that something good is happening.

I have another system on this server sitting and awaiting a unit for atleast 20minutes. I do get the OK status from the webpage.
Checkingt my logs, my last couple went lickity split, and now a hang.

If you are in the 'Hang' situation (anyway), why not stopping the Client, deleting the Work folder and queue.dat file and restart the Client ?
Could be that the queue.dat file has been corrupted in some way and by deleting it, a new one is created ...
You might check if there are still Results files from earlier WU's in your Work folder before deleting it, but if they are there for too long, they will pass or have passed the deadline anyway.
I have done the above sequence yesterday (at noon time UTC/GMT+1) and my system has been Folding without breaks ever since ...

Can't return results to work server ("Couldn't send HTTP request to server"). Collection server times out.
Client keeps downloading the same unit.
How is the server granting the WU at the same time that it's not accepting the results?
For now bypassed this by restarting the client with finished unit in queue, causing it to download a different unit, after which I could delete the finished unit to prevent stalls on unit completion. This new WU is also a p10102... *crosses fingers*

It 's NOT a helpful idea to delete finished Work Units, even in these times.
Things seem to be getting better in the last few hours (reporting from a fellow Folder who's had problems too).

This has been widely reported. It's on the list of improvements requested for V7 (when it comes out) but I don't know the feature list so I don't know if it will be in that version.
Normally it's a smaller problem, but because of the various server problems that are being discussed in many hot forum topics, it's a lot worse than usual.
