Does it work if you disable all the slots, then enable one at a time?

Windows Defender and Malwarebytes (and other firewalls) use more than one methodology to protect you from specific types of threats. The feature which is often called "spyware protection" is designed to protect you from unauthorized connections which upload data (such as your Social Security Number) to evil sites. They generally add automatic exclusions for all the commonly used browsers so you'll never catch them interfering with your browsing. Unfortunately FAHClient.exe is not on their list so by default, they block FAHClient from uploading and/or downloading data. You have to add that exception yourself.Hagerstrom wrote:Why did it break in the first place? The night before it broke I uploaded Malwarebytes and Windows updates as well as NVIDIA driver updates.
PantherX wrote: I still have the exceptions so in case anyone else faces this issue, updating the application module will resolve it.I have been using the Malwarebytes application and the F@H for more than a year. However, this month, it seems that Malwarebytes is
blocking the F@H application from downloading some important files which it requires to function correctly. I thought that I can create the exceptions which I did (attached is
the screenshot) but that didn't work. The only way I made it work was to quit Malwarebytes to allow it to download the component and then restarted Malwarebytes. Moreover, it
seems to be an issue that other people also encounter as seen above It would be great if this can be investigated and resolved ASAP
