The only solution here is to get a motherboard with a faster PCIe slot :(

Hello. Am I the only one who gets such slow simulation on this project? HFM.NET shows 260kPPD only

P.S. I get only 91xx projects with beta key & no 0x21 core. I doubt It's okay.
Yep, amost forgot to add. 1 CPU core of 4 used for GPU folding, 4500MHz. Bus interface is PCI-E x16 2.0 but I reached about 370kPPD on some other projects.

260k ppd is normal for a 970.

It is overclocked to 1499MHz. Maybe the situation is normal for this kind of WUs

For windows you're still within the norms, if you want more PPD then you will need to switch to linux

Thank you for advice Nathan. I tried to install Linux Mint 17.2 into VMWare but it did not see my PCI-E GFX. I still don't want to get rid of games so I cannot hold pure Linux on the single machine

I'm not sure about VMWare, but as a general rule, attempting to virtualize a GPU to share it between operating systems WILL FAIL. I suspect that's similar to why Microsoft decided that a GPU cannot be shared between an on-like user (i.e.-the desktop) and a background activity like running FAH as a service -- although that's not a separate OS.

A GPU needs to be dedicated.
