As far as i can tell the issue lies with something stanford did, i don't think there is anything we can do. I tried the beta flag earlier, grabbed a new wu and it didn't do squat. We are probably better off just stopping altogether, idle and wait for an update from stanford, as opposed to keep trying and just make a bigger mess.

The update you're waiting for seems to be approaching completion. Specific projects are being categorized as Beta / Advanced / Fah based on forum reports. The goal is to move all project which have problems back to beta and all projects which do not have problems to full FAH. As always, the projects categorized as Advanced carry an intermediate risk.

My GTX 980 is now folding so I assume they fixed the problem.

Same here, at least on advanced things look fine. I've switched to beta this morning to see what's the situation there - not sure whether the problematic projects were moved to beta (as was stated elsewhere) or whether they've been blacklisted for Maxwell cards altogether.

My 980 starts to get unstable about 1555 MHz and I keep it around 1545. The EVGA Precision utility reports the temperature while at max load to be 72-73 degrees. The voltage control is really limited so I think it is pointless to water cool it.

I'm also only getting 0x15 WU.

same.. using advanced flag, only been getting core 15's for the past couple days, removed the flag to see if anything happens. I have seen other people doing core 17 on maxwell "9201" to be more specific, so it should be fine.

If it's any consolation I'm on beta P10471 (core 18) which at the moment generates about the same amount of PPD as 0x15 WUs on 970 (yes, it's not normal and has been reported). 9201/9202 fold great though if you can get them.

Is a fix on the way? Can someone at PG give me some info please? 15h on 980 at core 18 is to slow.

Core_18 is currently in development. If you want information about beta testing, you must ask that question in the beta forum.

It's unlikely you'll get an answer. The Pande Group does not preannounce when future events will happen.

In another thread, the adjustment to server assignment was mentioned.

Received first 9201 WU last night.
Under two minute TPF on 970.

My 3x 980 and 3x 750Ti is now folding fine, P9201. Thanks stanford for fixing this.
