It might be caused by the now finished, planned Server maintenance (viewtopic.php?f=18&t=24819#p250586).

Please note that until FahCore_16 has officially been announced EOL, there is a very small probability that your GPU could be assigned FahCore_16 WU. Since the advanced client-type increases your probability of getting FahCore_17 WUs but it doesn't guarantee that you will indeed get FahCore_17 WUs.

In addition, the assignment servers have no way of detecting which driver you are using, just that you have an AMD GPU that potentially could fold either Core_16 or Core_17 WU's. Persons have managed to setup systems that would fold Core_16 WU's on HD7000 series cards, but that depends on driver version and other factors. The last known stable driver for use with Core_16 was 12.8, higher versions have worked some of the time. Once the Core_16 projects are done, then you should not run into this issue again.
