Could FAH cause cracking sounds?

If both your internal sound card, as well as the sound over the Nvidia GPU is crackled, Unless both devices are somehow broken, something may be wrong with the settings.
Could be as much as a mic unmute (or mic boost on), causing signal to be amplified...
