That will be a LOUD fan - newegg sez it's 70 dBA! Even their 1800 rpm, 103 cfm model is rated at 36 dBA...
Also, a typical case fan is 25mm deep. Will your case take the 38mm?
FWIW, the highest-flow Noctua 140mm fan (NFA-14 Industrial) gives 158 cfm at 3000 rpm and 41.3 dBA, and is still 25mm deep. The 120mm Noctuas I use (NF-S12A) are 63 cfm at 1200 rpm and 17.8 dBA, and I can hear them at full speed...

I’m getting sort of desperate, though I hope that running one RTX 2060 at 78-82C and the other maybe 10C cooler won’t cause damage. It’s a BIG case that can take an extended ATX motherboard, it’s largely mesh, but the cards have only one x1 slot between them (the only way they fit) and an unshrouded power supply beneath. And the ****ing things will not cool off! I’m too lazy to try water cooling.

It’s not that noisy. Problem is: couldn’t mount it in what I think is an optimal spot, and it’s not much help. Airflow through case is up, but the GPU cards run at best 5C cooler, if that. It’s an impressive-looking fan, and it moves a lot of air, but it hardly seems to matter. Or I’m doing things wrong.

Have you tried running with the case open ? It doesn't look good and dust control is problematic, but it might be worth a shot to see if it helps.

Didn’t seem to help. It’s no emergency but eventually I’ll figure out something. Maybe the next generation of GPU cards will have hybrid or water cooling. Are your backplane covers slotted - especially the ones immediately adjacent to the GPU cards? Contrart to popular belief, most of the cooling air exhaust from the cards does NOT go through the GPU card's backplane, despite the slots that may be it it. The orientation of the fins under the GPU fans will confirm this.
