Admins here can get the email from your forum registration. I am not sure what they are storing on the servers when you submit an email and username to generate a passkey. We don't have access to those servers, someone in the F@h consortium would have to look that up.

if anyone ever sees issues with the contributions from CMS-Experiment, please do contact me - either PM me, or email me.
I assume the admins can access my email form the forum registration and/or from the passkey registration.

We really should see some log files for those unsuccessful user accounts. They exist on client computer, it is almost impossible to find a reason from anywhere else.
