What mainboard do you have? FAH uses much higher pcie bus bandwidth than e.g. nicehash. There was a nvidia driver issue with mainboard using PLX pcie switch chip.

X399 Aorus,
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/X3 ... -rev-10#kf . Yes I know I was saying Nicehash as it uses all 4 cards not problem. Threadripper has 60 PCI lanes available.

Yes, nicehash doesn't need as much bandwidth as FAH so that means nothing. Maybe you're probably not providing enough bandwidth to support FAH on all of your GPUs or maybe you're using the driver with the bug.
What driver version are you running?

Currently on ubuntu, driver 410.66. What do you mean not providing enough bandwidth? 60 PCI lanes is not enough? according to the MB SPECS 4 slots are 16/8 and middle slot is a 4X. I have my cards in 1-4. It reboots under windows as well. latest nvidia drivers available

I downloaded the zip files, but those four don't show the driver version. Thank you.
Foldy will figure out if you have the driver/hardware combination that has had reported problems.

The mainboard doesn't have the plx pcie switch chip so this is a different issue. Which bios version are you using? Looks like bios F11e with AGESA 1.1.0.1a was released for your mainboard a month ago.

Yes I updated the Bios to F11e the other day.

So your Mainboard BIOS updated, no plx chip, issue happens with Linux and Windows, 1600watts power supply, 3 GPUs work, 4th GPU any fails. No idea anymore.

Something (driver, OS, fahcore, ...) might no like mixing 3 identical GPUs (1070) with another one (1080) ? It would be surprising since they're all GP104 chips, but it could cause issues if there are differences in OpenCL object sizes or resources allocation limitations.
What clinfo says about a 1070 and a 1080 ?
