The only thing i notice is he has 3 OpenCL drivers and one has a different version number. I am guessing the other one is installed in error.

I do not know how to say one wants to use Device 2 and 3, not 0.

I google OpenCL 20.19 and I get "OpenCL: Intel HD Graphics 4600 driver crashed version: 20.19" so he may wish to try to uninstall any Intel Graphics Driver he has installed.

Hi.
OK.I've uninstalled FAH again. I've updated the graphics driver for the Intel 4600 graphics on the CPU and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Nvidia drivers for the Titan Z latest versions. Reinstalled FAH and I have exactly the same problem! This was a second hand card which I have just bought. I'm wondering if there is a program that will check that both GPU's on the card are working properly. I have checked Device Manager in Windows and GPU Z and both see both GPU's apparently with no errors. Is there another GPU checker that I can use? Pete

GPU-z shows the GPU load on the sensors tab and you can check the different GPUs using the drop-down box at the bottom of the page.

If you're only seeing a load on one of your GPUs I suggest manually changing the opencl-index on both GPU slots:

Using FAHControl pause all folding.
Configuration > Slots > select GPU 1 > Edit > change opencl-index to 1 > OK
select GPU 2 > Edit > change opencl-index to 2 > OK Save

Restart the folding client (easiest might be to reboot) and click on Fold in FAHControl if necessary (i.e. the slots are still showing as Paused).

Check usages again using GPU-z as above.

Device 0 is the iGPU on his i7-4770K -- and Intel HD Graphics 4600. Intel GPUs are not supported by FAH so it shouldn't be trying to use it.

This is a bug in FAHClient.

CUDA devices are correctly identified but OpenCL devices are, as you say, initially identified as 2 and 3 but then when the WU starts, it tries to use OpenCL Devices 0 and 2.
Folding Slot 2 should configure itself for CUDA device 1 and OpenCL device 2. The unsupported device should be OpenCL Device 0

You can probably avoid this problem by REMOVING the Intel OpenCL drivers. (You won't be using that driver.)
You can also configure this manually by adding settings for opencl-index=2 and 3 to the GPU slots.

Good eye, JimboPalmer

@bruce

Please see this post regarding why I said setting opencl-index to 1 & 2 instead of 2 & 3 worked for me:

I may have given you incorrect information. I suggest you run a tiny utility (you may need to download it) called 'clinfo'

It will give you the correct values to set for you GPU slots.

Get rid of the Intel GPU and its drivers and everything will work better ...

FAH doesn't like when more than one OpenCL Platform is present.

I've tried to stream line things a bit. I have removed the CPU folding and I have deleted the Intel 4600 driver and uninstalled the device in device manager. The only problem is that it seem to automatically reinstall it at boot up. I've still got the same problem so I guess this is where it starts to get a bit more technical! I enclose the latest log. Could someone give me some clear and simple instructions about what to try next? I know nothing about this OpenCL stuff! Thanks everyone for all your help. Pete

I've just been looking at the log and it seems that the Intel 4600 GPU is still in there as OpenCL 3 Platform 2. It's a bit like shit on your shoe. I just don't seem to be able to get rid of it! Any ideas?

You can disable the Intel 4600 GPU in Windows device manager.
And you can try:
GPU 0 opencl-index 0 or 1
GPU 1 opencl-index 1 or 2

Success!!! Looks like we have swept to glorious victory. I'm now folding on 2 GPU's. The only problem that I can see is that the PPD is very low. When I was folding on a single GPU the PPD was 200,000. Now with both I'm only getting 70,000 total! I'm folding Project 11713 on both at the moment. Is there a problem or is it just the project? I was expecting a pretty good total for both GPU's

Check that both GPU's are actively being used for processing with a utility such as GPU-Z. There have been reports in the past of misconfigured clients running two WU's on just one of the available GPU's.

If that checks out, let the WU's run for several percent. Initial estimates can be off until then, especially if a WU from that project has not run on the installed folding client. It keeps a database of projects and prior TPF information to estimate completion time and points.

Finally, check to see if you entered your passkey. That often gets left off in a reinstall.

Also, verify that you did not change the UserName or the Passkey since you were getting better PPDs.

Good point about the passkey. I was installing and uninstalling so many times that I've left the passkey off. I'll add that back in and see what happens.
